People of all ages were delighted by TheatreWorks’ summer 2007 production of “Peter Pan: The Musical” at Patrick Henry Community College. Over 1700 people enjoyed six sold-out performances.

Early in the performance Peter Pan soared gracefully through the window of the Darling children’s nursery, setting into motion an adventure full of pirates, Indians and melodies that lifted many cast members right off their feet and transported the audience to Neverland.

A cast of 25, a production staff and crew of 20, and a six piece orchestra brought to life the tale of the boy who never wanted to grow up.

Freely based on the story of Genesis, Children Of Eden is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the Father who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."

A cast of 40 local and regional adults and children wowed the audiences at Martinsville High School July 28 - 30th of 2006. Outstanding financial support from the community made this show a success!

Summer 2005 Production ...."Little Shop of Horrors"

Combine a talking man-eating plant from outer space, a nerdy florist in love with the bimbo girlfriend of a sadistic, motorcycle riding dentist, a quartet of do-wop street urchins, and what do you get? "Little Shop of Horrors", the summer 2005 TheatreWorks hit. Over 1500 people attended the 3 performances, giving TheatreWorks a great start for the revival of community theater.
